Shi Weihan Released!

(Beijing – March 7, 2011) ChinaAid has learned that Mr. Shi Weihan was released on February 9, 2011 and is now reunited with his wife and his two children. He was a leader of a house church in Beijing and was a Christian publisher. He was arrested on the early morning of November 28, 2007 and was released with no charges on January 4, 2008. On March 9, 2008, he was again arrested and on June 10, 2009 he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment on the charge of “illegal business operation” and was fined 150,000 yuan. Brother Shi is now in a stable condition both mentally and physically.
