Beijing Shouwang Church Announcement on Outdoor Worship Service on March 24, 2013

Dear brothers and sisters:

Peace in the Lord! On this past Sunday, we held the twelfth outdoor worship service of 2013. It was a sunny day. As far as we know, at least twenty believers were taken away from locations near the platform or from home. Some of them were released soon after they were taken away, and the rest of them were detained at three police stations, including Zhongguancun Street police station. They all got released around 11:30am on Sunday.

This week is the Passion Week, and we are going to celebrate the third Easter Sunday during the period of holding outdoor services. May each believer, under current circumstance, gain a deeper understanding of Christ’s suffering for us and of the price that Christ paid for us. As we experience being united with Christ in His death and resurrection in a deeper level, we may be strengthened to follow Him. May peace and grace be with each believer in the coming Easter!
