Attend a Stand Up For Religious Freedom rally near you on Friday, March 23, 2012

Dear friends,
This Friday, March 23, 2012 at 12pm, Americans in more than 100 cities in the United States will come together to Stand Up for Religious Freedom and rally to protest the unconstitutional mandate that forces religious organizations and employers to provide, without co-pay, abortion-causing drugs, contraceptives, and sterilizations in their employee and student health care plans.
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty is co-sponsoring the rallies organized by the “Stand Up for Religious Freedom” coalition just days before the Supreme Court hears arguments on the government’s Affordable Care Act, the most consequential legislation of the last three years. The Becket Fund was the first law firm to sue the Obama administration following his abortion-drug mandate back in October and has been a leading voice and authority on this issue ever since.
Your very own Eric Rassbach, Deputy General Counsel, Lori Windham, Senior Counsel, Ashley McGuire, Neuhaus Fellow, and Melissa Moschella, Becket Fellow, will be speaking at the San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City rallies, respectively.
Join us in showing the government that Americans still believe. Click here to find a rally near you.
If you aren’t available to attend a rally, click here to sign the Becket Fund’s petition, “Mr. President, I still believe.” If you have already signed the petition, we want to thank you for your courage and hope you will share the petition with your friends. We need help gathering more signatures for what is currently the largest petition against the HHS mandate with over 100,000 signees. We have a goal of gathering 1 million signatures on our petition, which we will then send to the White House on April 2nd. The religious freedom rallies are a key opportunity to reach that goal.

Even if you can’t attend a rally, consider one of the other action items you and your friends can take:
Action Items:
Sign the Petition (http://www.becketfund.org/ibelievepetition/)
Attend a Local Rally (http://standupforreligiousfreedom.com/locations/)
Share the Rally Facebook Picture (http://www.facebook.com/becketfund)
Tweet about the Rally (https://twitter.com/#!/search/%23STANDUPRALLY)
Support the Becket Fund (https://www.becketfundcommunity.org/SupportUs)
We hope you will take action, sign the petition, and attend a rally this Friday at 12pm. Share this with everyone you know- if we all speak up together, the government can’t ignore us.
