(Midland, Texas–Dec. 9, 2012) ChinaAid is joining with China Life Alliance to organize an ongoing worldwide prayer effort to end the 30,000 babies that are killed daily in China through abortion, the two organizations announced Monday on the occasion of Human Rights Day.

China Life Alliance is spearheading the effort to bring together a team of 30,000 people to pray daily for “life” issues in China, and wants to drive at least 30,000 people to its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ChinaLifeAlliance on Human Rights Day, Dec. 10.

“There are more abortions every few years in China than all of American history combined,” the organization, based in Washington State, says. “But did you know that there is a pro-life movement in China? Probably not. Most people don’t know about it because it’s been happening underground.”

China Life Alliance helps churches all over China to rescue children before they are abandoned, sold or killed.  ChinaAid founder and president Bob Fu is on the organization’s advisory board.

It says that “now there is a way for you to be involved. … Our most urgent need is for prayer. We are looking for 30,000 people that can pray daily for Life in China.”

Those who want to be part of the prayer team can “like” the group’s Facebook page or sign up to receive its prayer updates. The organization’s website is at www.chinalifealliance.com
