House Church Pastor: Evangelization in China Will End if House Churches Join Government’s Three-Self Church System (VIDEO)

Tuesday, March 26, 2013

China Aid Association VOCN
Earlier this month, Pastor Zhan Gang was detained by police when he traveled to northeastern China’s Heilongjiang province to visit Pastor Sun Wenxian, who had been beaten by police.  Heilongjiang police held Pastor Zhan in a hotel and ordered him to leave the next day.  In a 2012 interview with ChinaAid, Pastor Zhan explained why house churches so adamantly refuse to join the government’s Three-Self Church system and also why the Communist-ruled Chinese government is so determined to bring house churches under government control.
