“Free Li Wenxi and Ren Lacheng:” Video posted appeals for prisoners’ release

This is the video appealing for Li and Ren’s release.

On June 17, 2013, the Court of Xiaodian District of Taiyuan sentenced Brothers Lacheng Ren and Wenxi Li to five years and two years of prison, respectively, for “illegal business operations.” The arrest was prompted when, between July 27, 2009 and March 28, 2012, Enyu, which means Grace Rain in English, Bookstore sold 780 hymnals. The total “illegal” income is $900 USD.

According to all the facts and evidence, these two men were not in charge of running the bookstore. Additionally, the actual income was far less than the court claimed it to be. Because of this, the defendants’ four lawyers believe the verdict of the Xiaodian Court has no basis in fact or law. The higher court must correct the mistakes of the Xiaodian Court and release the two brothers immediately!

China Aid appeals for prayers from all over the world for Ren and Li. May they be released soon!
