Zhejiang: 12 church crosses removed in 24-hour period

(Lishui, Zhejiang–May 5, 2015) China Aid received a report that authorities in the Chinese coastal city of Lishui removed crosses from 12 Catholic and Protestant churches on Saturday.

The churches were all in the Wenxi, a township in Lishui. Local reports stated that thousands of military police were mobilized  to complete the demolitions.
