Officials attack Bible study, harass Christians

(Xiamen, Fujian—June 14, 2019) Officials attacked a Bible study in China’s southeastern Fujian province yesterday, to which the gathered Christians responded with singing hymns.

After the officials interrupted the Bible study, which is affiliated with Xinzao Church, they demanded that the Christians register their IDs. The Christians refused to comply and instead sang worship songs.

Some of the church’s ministers were also detained.
