Updated on Sept. 13, 2019, to correct one of the co-hosts of the UN side event. It was previously incorrectly reported that the UN Commission on the Status of Women was co-hosting the event with Jubilee Campaign. In fact, Christian Solidarity Worldwide and Jubilee Campaign are co-hosting the event.

(Geneva—Sept. 11, 2019) ChinaAid Founder and President Bob Fu will speak at a United Nations side event in Geneva, Switzerland, on Sept. 19, highlighting human rights, religious freedom, and rule of law abuses in China.

The event, titled “Human Rights in China: Freedom of Religion or Belief and Rule of Law,” will provide information on the Chinese Communist Party’s routine violations of both the rights of its citizens and fair legal proceedings. The featured speakers include Fu and Kuzzat Altay of the Uyghur Entrepreneurs Network as well as key witnesses Gulbakhar Jalilova, Golok Jigme, and Hyeona Ji.

Jubilee Campaign and Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) are co-hosting the event, and Mirjam Bos of Jubilee Campaign will serve as the moderator. It will be held at the Palais des Nations from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Central European Summer Time (GMT+2).

Those with UN accreditation are welcome to attend the event.
