(Hong Kong—Aug. 11, 2020) Democracy activist Agnes Chow and two sons of media tycoon Jimmy Lai were bailed out of jail today following their arrests.

The three were among the pro-democracy activists arrested Monday under Hong Kong’s new National Security Law.

Lai, who was also arrested on a collusion with foreign powers charge for running a pro-democracy media group, is still in custody. However, his car and personal driver were spotted outside the police station.
