(Xinjiang—Sept. 16, 2020) Ambassador Sam Brownback confirms reports that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mandates medical staff in Xinjiang hospitals to abort and even kill Uyghur babies after their live births.

Eyewitnesses who have escaped from this area have testified regarding the horrific level of the CCP’s plan to ethnically purge Uyghurs.

Brownback considers it “completely unconscionable” that China holds the CCP as a global leader, yet not only persecutes this ethnic and other religious groups, but routinely kills their own people’s babies. He stressed, the world may say, “‘Well, we’re just not sure if this is happening.’ This sounds like what we’ve done in past with genocide, crimes against humanity, [and other] ethnic purges….”

Some may prefer to say, “I don’t really want to confront the factual setting here. I’d rather just not know,” Brownback said.

“I think we do know, and I think we have to act.”
