In the June 5 interview by Becky Ferguson, One Question 1-hour special, Becky Ferguson talks with former President George W. Bush, as well as with Bob Fu of ChinaAid, and one other Midlander featured in his new book.

During the interview, Bob Fu, PhD, president of ChinaAid told Becky Ferguson how he went from “Xiqiu to Joseph to simply ‘Bob'” during a last-minute trade with a friend—of a slip of paper he had pulled out of a hat. “My Chinese name is pronounced ‘She-Shoe.'” he explained. “Changing from Xiqiu to Bob… [helps] English speakers… [pronounce] my name.”
